MUG CAKE


Ingredients:
  • 35 grams plain or whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fat free or low fat milk or almond milk
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) apple juice (canned or bottled)
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract for taste
Instructions:

1.Combine all of the dry ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.2.Add the egg whites to the bowl and stir well.After this,add the milk,vanilla extract and apple juice and stir again to mix everything well.3.Grease two mugs with some extra virgin olive oil or butter or just spray some non-stick cooking spray in them.Divide the mixture from the bowl and pour it in each of the mugs.4.Cook in the microwave for about 3 minutes.Check.5.Serve chilled.You can add some chocolate chips or flakes to the mixture and spray with some whipped cream on the top,but watch out for the calories.6.Bon appetit!
