PESTO CHICKEN

Delicious recipe with homemade pesto.Garnish this healthy meal with a salad of apples or just a green salad.Enjoy!

 

 


PESTO CHICKEN

 
 
Ingredients:
    • 800 gr chicken fillets
    • 130 ml extra virgin olive oil
    • 50 gr fresh basil
    • 20 gr raw cedar nuts
    • 1 garlic
    • 100 gr grated parmesan cheese
    • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice



 
Instructions:
1.Make the pesto:add the basil,cedar nuts,garlic and parmesan in a blender and blend well.Add the lemon juice to the mixture.Slowly add 110 ml of the olive oil while stirring.Pour the ready pesto in a bowl,cover with a plastic wrap and leave it for couple hours.2.Preheat a grill on a medium heat.Grease the fillets with some olive oil.Season them with some salt and pepper.Cook them for 3-4 min per side on the grill.3.Serve the grilled fillets on a plates and pour a little bit of the pesto on each one.Enjoy!
