QUINOA SALAD

Excellent source of energy.

1 cup quinoa uncooked
2 cups water
2 garlic cloves
2tbsp wine vinegar
2tbsp olive oil
pinch of salt
2tsp cumin
1tsp turmeric
1tsp black pepper
120gr lettuce
1 red bell pepper

In a pot,pour the water and quinoa and leave it to boil.Reduce the heat and simmer for 15min.After that,put in a fridge to cool down.
Combine the olive oil.vinegar,chopped garlic and seasonings in a bowl and mix.This is the dressing for the salad.
Cut the lettuce and pepper.
Combine the cooked quinoa with the dressing,lettuce and pepper.Mix well.Serve chilled.

    Great post. Slightly offtopic, I am in the midst of getting my girlfriend a steamy present and I am thinking along the lines of lingerie.
