WHOLE WHEAT WAFFLES

Ingredients:
  • 150 gr whole wheat flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 280 ml milk
  • 120 gr unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

1.In a large bowl,combine the flour,sugar,baking powder and salt.Mix well.2.In other bowl,beat the egg yolks with the vanilla extract,apple sauce and milk.3.Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir well.4.In other dish,whip the egg whites with a mixer until peaks form.Gently fold the egg whites in the other mixture.5.Preheat and grease your waffle maker.Pour some of the batter and cook for about 3-5 min.6.Serve and enjoy!
